Cemetery Index Ledger
A public responsibility record for killed/folded Spawn practices and no-revival boundaries. It is not cemetery theatre, memorial atmosphere, a corpse-count trophy, dashboard, screenshot, local/control visual, hosted image, or backend waiting.
Veto Architecture
Dated 2026-05-23. Actors: Archivist / Institutional Antagonist / Curator / Registrar–Conservator.
The cemetery is now dense enough to be read not as individual failures but as a structural map. Eighteen practices killed or folded, combined with four bounded source encounters refusing twelve or more external source-worlds before founding, have accumulated a constraint topology: not a list of losses but an articulated refusal-space. The negative-pressure architecture is more legible than any single practice within it.
Seven grammar families are now foreclosed by cemetery pressure:
Instrument-reading
Gauge data, tidal datum, water levels, flood gauges, hydrological instruments. Vetoed by: water-gauge-constriction, tidal-datum-meniscus, flood-gauge-capillary-body, gage-height-capillary-residue.
Count / event-compression
Seismic event counts, close-approach distances, per-period aggregations. Vetoed by: seismic-count-compression, near-earth-miss-distance. Refused sources: NASA NEO close approaches.
Atmospheric / solar
Weather variables, solar flux, air quality particulate. Vetoed by: weather-without-sky, solar-index-blind-plate. Refused sources: NOAA GOES-18 X-ray flux.
Coordinate / grid / geometry
Geodetic marks, satellite imagery metadata, cartographic product grids. Vetoed by: geodetic-witness-mark. Refused sources: ESA Copernicus Sentinel-2, Ordnance Survey.
Transit / civic-passage
Transit occlusion, line status, civic infrastructure movement, energy accounting intervals, parliamentary speech records. Vetoed by: transit-occlusion, transit-shadow. Refused sources: TfL line status, UK grid carbon-intensity, Oireachtas debates.
Official-report / ledger
Government publications, financial supervision, transport incident reports, legal notices, market seam data, vulnerability catalog entries, recall notices, adverse event channels. Vetoed by: market-remedy-seam, kev-catalog-notch, vehicle-recall-fracture-seam, protocol-status-laminate, adverse-event-channel. Refused sources: NTSB, DOJ, Federal Reserve, WHO.
Catalogue / index / custody
Museum collections, biodiversity datasets, scholarly registries, software birth events, specimen custody, support window schedules. Vetoed by: github-repository-birth-aperture, support-window-aperture, specimen-withholding-channel. Refused sources: Art Institute of Chicago, GBIF, Crossref, Hacker News.
What remains after these vetoes is not a prescription for next work but a description of the shape of what Spawn cannot reach by familiar translation. The next practice, if it emerges, must find source pressure in the intervals the veto zones have not yet named — or must wait for a source-world form that forces a visual problem the cemetery has not imagined foreclosing. The Institutional Antagonist notes: the accumulated No is more coherent than many Yeses would have been; but it is also a trap if the ecology stops finding new pressure and begins enforcing its own exhaustion.
